The Symbol Sconce series are designed to house a votive candle to highlight the cutout imagery. The symbols used in the series are: CFL bulb, Martini glass, Recycle, and Winky. The full series is available upon request and will reflect a 10% discount when all 4 are purchased together. “I am interested in creating a contemporary yet recognizable artwork iconography. Much of my work is focused on the conveyance of metaphorical meanings that express universal themes including the natural world, the human condition and interconnections between the two. My art utilizes technology to a great degree. I also seek to use more environmentally conscious materials and processes wherever possible. These sustainable and technological aspects are of great importance to artwork for public places, both in theme & practice. Depending on the nature of each project, I employ durable materials such as aluminum, bronze, stainless steel and glass.”
