The Tru-Slim is crafted around the idea that the most important part of any artistic display is the art itself. To that end, this frame light is designed to be wholly unobtrusive to the arrangement of one’s exhibition, a plain unique finish with no unnecessary ornamentation. This finish highlights the style of one’s painting and frame, accenting with an aesthetic befitting the metallic tones of more contemporary art and frames. In fact, the light itself measures at only 7/8 of an inch thick, an ultra-sleek form that acts as an underscored complement to art.
Picture-Perfect LEDs Bring Colors to Life
In order to assure the very richest color, the Tru-Slim is equipped with an array of 6 low voltage LED nodes. The light from these bulbs is rated with a Color Rendering Index (CRI) of above 90, a museum-grade illumination that saturates reds, yellows, and blues into vivid fullness. This fullness is offset by a color temperature of 2700 Kelvin, a natural illumination equal to the warm glow of the sun in the early morning. However, where full sunlight discolors paintings with harmful ultraviolet radiation, Cocoweb LEDs shine a clean radiance that accents artwork without degrading its foundation.
Battery Operated for Maximum Versatility
A new function to Cocoweb’s renowned picture lights, this model of the Tru-Slim is equipped to run on completely independent battery power. This 12 inch model requires 4 C-Cell batteries to be installed in each of its two base panels, which in turn can be mounted upon either the wall as a permanent wall fixture, or directly into the casing of one’s painting as a frame light. Cordless battery operation allows placement of the light in virtually any environment, without relying on the fickle placement of power outlets and junction boxes.
